Cobb County Outdoor Festival @ Allatoona Creek

The Natural Resources Unit of Cobb County Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Affairs is hosting an Outdoor Festival on September 15, 2012 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.

The festival is a celebration of outdoor recreation & an effort to increase awareness, participation, and appreciation for the many recreational opportunites available in Cobb County.

This event will include hunting demonstrations, archery shooting, fishing demonstations, birding activites, dog retriever demos, and of course bicycle activites!  IMBA-SORBA volunteers will be doing bike games for prizes, a kids ride, and a raffle, as well as working alongside local shops to provide bike maintenance & product demos.  So far, we know that REI Kennesaw and Big Peach Running will be there!  If you have questions or you're interested in volunteering, please let us know.
